Shoulder Injuries - should you see a Chiropractic Neurologist?
Wednesday, March 7, 2012
We see and treat a lot of shoulder injuries at Portland Chiropractic Neurology. Rotator cuff injuries are very common, as our AC joint (front of the shoulder) injuries. These are often precipitated through injury, or chronic aberrant scapulo-thoracic movement caused by biomechanical issues of joints and muscles in upper shoulder girdle. In other words, if your joints are restricted and your muscles are pulling too tightly or loosely then individuals can experience pain, numbness or tingling in the shoulder, neck or upper extremity. Other common sources of a shoulder injury are from sports, work-related, motor vehicle accidents, or simply postural strain over time.Posted by Portland
