What is Functional Neurology?

Friday, October 21, 2011

Functional Neurology is the practice of neurology without the use of drugs or surgery.  Since the majority of conditions that people suffer from are not pathological, we are left with functional causes. This is applicable to a wide range of conditions like vertigo or dizziness, balance disorders; depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities, migraines, sciatica, numbness or tingling, facial pain disorders; disc herniations, bulges, carpal tunnel, multiple sclerosis, parkinson’s disease, concussion, and head trauma.
