Disc Decompression in Portland Maine
Wednesday, September 2, 2009
DTS therapy allows normal disc imbibition, or diffusion of fluids and materials into the disc that it needs to regain health. It targets specific areas that are affected and treats accordingly. Discs are not complicated structures, they heal themselves just as other areas of our body do, ie. a cut in our skin. However, they do not have the same blood supply networks that other parts of our body do. Instead, they use diffusion, or movement to receive vitamins and minerals needed to survive and/or regain health.
