What kind of chair should I use at my desk?

Your Chiropractic Neurology questions answered:
Dear Dr. McArthur,
“I frequently get lower back pain while sitting at my desk. What kind of chair should I use? Is there anything I can do to support my back?” - Sarah N.
I recommend a chair with lumbar support. Ideally, you don't want to angle one way or another, but be keep your spine as neutral as possible. Leaning forward or slouching will definitely exacerbate a lower back issue. There are different supports for the back of your chair that you can get, such as lumbar curvature devices available at most travel stores.
