Dr. Aaron MacArthur, D.C., DACNB, FABVR, FABBIR
Dr. Aaron MacArthur attended the University of Maine, Orono, graduating Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. He graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate in 2007. He then received his post-doctorate diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board after completing his studies with the Carrick Institute for Neurological Studies 2007. He obtained his Fellowship from the American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2010 followed by his Fellowship from the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation in 2015.
Dr. Mac, as he likes to be called around the office, is an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys everything about Maine. He is especially fond of saltwater fishing and gets out on his boat whenever possible. Exercise and fitness are a big part of his life, as he tries to achieve some level of physical exercise every day. Dr. Mac is always continuing his education, striving to obtain the most recent information and technology available so that he can provide the best care for his patients.
Dr. Elizabeth McNally, D.C., DACNB, FABCDD, FABBIR
Dr. McNally graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in Port Orange, Florida and graduated Cum Laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in September 2010. She then went on to receive her post-doctorate diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board after completing her studies with the Carrick Institute for Neurological Studies in 2011. She obtained her Fellowship of the American Board of Childhood Developmental Disorders in 2014, followed by her Fellowship of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation in 2015. In addition to neurology, Dr. McNally's special interests include nutrition and physical rehabilitation.
Outside of the office Dr. McNally loves spending the majority of her time working out, playing various sports, creating and testing out new recipes in her kitchen, and enjoying the outdoors, especially with her handsome Labrador Retrievers, Rónán and Tiernan.
Dr. Dana Brindisi, D.C., DACNB, CFMP
Dr. Dana Brindisi graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida campus, where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2012, and was honored with both a Clinic Service Award and a Leadership Appreciation Award. Dr. Brindisi has done extensive post-graduate work in the fields of Functional Neurology and Functional Medicine. She obtained her Diplomate in Neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through Functional Medicine University working towards her Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition.
Dr. Brindisi enjoys treating patients of all ages. She takes a multi-modal approach to treatment, addressing aspects of Chiropractic, Functional Medicine, Functional Neurology and nutrition to best serve her patients. Dr. Brindisi keeps up-to-date with the most current research in all of these fields to assure the most appropriate treatment modalities. She enjoys educating her patients so that they have a full understanding of their health and can take an active part in their treatment. Dr. Brindisi is a member of both the American Chiropractic Association and the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation.
In her free time Dr. Brindisi enjoys playing with her Chocolate Lab, Kava. She also enjoys running, working out, playing sports, attending seminars and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Brian Sass, D.C., DACNB, FABBIR
Dr. Brian Sass graduated from Michigan State University with Honors in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 from Life University in Georgia with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. In 2015 he also received his post-doctorate Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and a Fellowship from the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation after training with the Carrick Institute for Neurological Studies. Dr. Sass worked at the Plasticity Brain Center in Orlando Florida prior to joining PCN.
Dr. Sass enjoys treating a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, including patients who suffer from Vertigo, Post-Concussion Syndrome and mild Traumatic Brain Injuries.
In his free time, Dr. Sass enjoys training at the gym, reading books, attending seminars, watching and playing hockey, and spending time with his friends and family.
Dr. Christopher Sass, D.C., DACNB, FABBIR
Dr. Christopher Sass attended Michigan State University, graduating with a B.S. in Human Physiology with Honors in 2011. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015. Dr. Sass received his post-doctorate Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and a Fellowship from the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Sass utilizes many disciplines in the evaluation and treatment of his patients. His passion is utilizing his training and experience in Chiropractic Neurology to help those who have not found the answers to their health problems elsewhere.
Dr. Haley Everett, D.C.
Dr. Haley Everett graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida graduating Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic in December 2016. Towards the end of her doctorate degree Dr. Everett found a passion for Functional Neurology and the positive impact it can have on so many people. She is working towards her Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. In addition to Functional Neurology, Dr. Everett has a passion for sports rehabilitation and pediatric care.
Dr. Everett enjoys playing a variety of sports, particularly hockey. She also enjoys working out, skiing, traveling, continuing education, and spending time with family and friends.
Crystal Savage, Practice Manager
Crystal joined PCN as Practice Manager in 2010. Though most of her time is spent working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice, she is motivated by our patient successes. She is constantly improving efficiency throughout the office and has high standards for patient satisfaction. Crystal strives to handle the practice details, allowing the doctors to focus on providing the best patient care possible.
When Crystal isn't working, she loves to play tennis. She likes being outside and enjoying all Maine has to offer.
Eamonn Harrigan, Clinical Manager
Eamonn graduated from St. Joseph's college in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. While attending college, he worked at County Physical Therapy where he trained highschool soccer teams in fitness and conditioning. He also assisted the athletic training staff at St. Joseph's College.
Eamonn is originally from Northern Maine but chose to stay in Portland after graduating college. He played soccer for the St. Joseph’s men’s team and continues to play on teams locally. He also stays active by running and cycling.
Jaime Norton, MS OTR/L
Jaime graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2006 with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Since then, she has primarily worked in skilled nursing facilities assisting patients in obtaining the skills necessary to achieve their highest functional potentials.
Jaime began working here in 2015, providing individualized treatment protocols prescribed by our Chiropractic Neurologists for patients undergoing neurological rehabilitation.
Outside of the office, Jaime enjoys being outdoors and exercising.
Celina Lemieux, Chiropractic Assistant
Celina graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 2012. Prior to joining the PCN staff, she was a cardiopulmonary intern at Southern Maine Medical Center in the Cardiopulmonary Wellness Gym. There she aided the head Exercise Physiologist in providing supervised, medically documented exercise as rehabilitation for those with heart and lung diseases.
Celina spends a lot of her free time learning about human nutrition and diet-specific treatments for various diseases. She also loves to prepare vegan and gluten-free meals, read non-fiction books and practice yoga.
Haley Davis, Chiropractic Assistant
Haley graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health and a minor in Child and Adolescent Health. In her senior year, she was inducted into the ETA Sigma Gamma National Health Society. Haley has a background in geriatric care and enjoys working with the elderly population.
In her free time, she sings at weddings and spends time with family and friends.
Kristen Gregorio, Front Desk Manager
Kristen grew up in southern Maine and has lived in Portland since 2006. She studied at USM as a Health and Fitness Major. Her interest in health and wellbeing make her a great addition to the PCN team. She is continuously learning about nutrition, holistic bodywork and natural remedies.
Kristen has worked in customer service for the past 10 years and enjoys working with people. You will see her at the front desk, often with a smile, talking with patients and helping to coordinate their care here.
When Kristen is not working, she loves to hike, paint, cook, and read.
Kristina Rand, Human Resources
Kristina attended Husson University where she received a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining our practice in 2016, she worked for the State of Maine in Health and Human Services for 7 years where she gained management experience and extensive knowledge of implementing new policies and procedures.
Kristina enjoys seeing our patients progress and realize the healing benefits of our care. Her enthusiasm and drive for success makes her a great addition to the team.
Kristina lives in Portland with her husband, Alex. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and trying new recipes, painting, reading and the Maine outdoors.
Jana Aupsland, Billing Specialist
Jana moved to Portland in 2009 from Southern Indiana/Louisville, KY area where she has over 20 years of billing and medical coding experience. She has worked in a variety of specialties including Emergency, Radiology, Pediatric Anesthesiology and Optometry.
Jana joined our billing staff in 2010. While much of her time is spent behind the scenes, she enjoys helping out at the front desk allowing her more time getting to know patients.
Jana and her husband moved to Great Diamond Island in 2016 and have enjoyed getting to know the island life and the amazing community that comes along with it. They have two adult children, Bailey and Christian and a pitbull mix/island dog named Molly.
Renee Lewis, Patient Services Representative
Renee was born and raised in Portland. Prior to joining Portland Chiropractic Neurology, Renee was employed by Mercy Hospital in the Gastroenterology and Oncology departments. She also has 10 years of administrative experience from working at a title company.
When not working at PCN with patients or behind-the-scenes, Renee enjoys traveling and going to concerts with her husband. She is the mother of an adult daughter and son and the grandmother of 1. She is also a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin.
Ellen Malmquist, Medical Records
Ellen and her family relocated to Maine in 2016. A former New Englander, she had spent 18 years in Bozeman, Montana working in customer service and as a receptionist at Bozeman Health.
Ellen, her husband and two children live in Hollis. When Ellen is not working, she enjoys working in her yard and spending time at the beach.
