Disc Herniation, Disc Bulges, Sciatica, Disc Degenerative Disease, Foot Drop and more

Treatment of Discs and their structural consituents requires an in-depth understanding of the Musculoskeletal and Neurological system. As Diplomates in Neurology, we have extensive post-doctoral training in peripheral nerve and spinal cord pathology as they relate to Disc Injuries that result in Radiculitis, Neuritis, Sciatica, Disc Herniation, Disc Bulge, Foot Drop, Hypoesthesia, Hyperesthesia and more. We utilize Neurological Rehabilitation, Spinal Disc Decompression therapy, Non-rotational Specific Neurological Mobilization, Physical Therapy(Electrical Muscle Stim, Cold Laser, Active Muscle Release, Percussor Therapy, Stretching, Strengthening) and Nutrition. Most discs can heal with conservative treatment, but may require surgery if atrophy occurs, so that permanent changes don't occur. Discs do not have a normal blood supply, instead they require movement to acquire their nutrients through diffusion in a vaccum effect, ingesting fluids from the surrounding tissues. We create this movement through our comprehensive therapy, allowing the normal processes return and healing to occur.
